The Origin of Taberna del Volapié
Jerez, where it all began
An urban train was officially inaugurated in Jerez in 1872, known as "La Jerezana."
It was a steam engine that every day toured all the wineries, and even made its way inside some of them to load the wine.
As a tribute, "Jerez, 1872" celebrates the city that inspires our restaurants on the façade of our original taverns.
The joy of life
Andalusia is unique. In few places can you enjoy life to the fullest.
That's why at Volapié we bring that Southern joy to each of our taverns.
Just like in Andalusia, we know that the best moments are the ones you spend with your people, enjoying the happiness that the little things give us.
We are experts in passionately experiencing and savoring every moment.
Because, if you live with joy in your heart, any moment becomes a celebration.
